Part-Time HR Specialist (Temporary)

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a growing organization experiencing a surge in recruitment activity and seeking a part-time HR professional to support their internal hiring and onboarding efforts.

In this role, you'll be an essential partner in the final stages of bringing new team members onboard. You'll help ensure candidates receive accurate, timely communication and a seamless experience as they move from selection to hire.

This role is perfect for someone who:

Is confident handling offer letters, background checks, and onboarding steps

Location: Remote (Must be local to Orange County area)
Job Type: Temporary (4-6 months)
Schedule: 10-15 hours per week, potential to grow

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate offer letters and assist with compensation details
Facilitate background checks through HireRight, including data entry and status monitoring
Coordinate Livescan fingerprinting and DMV record requests
Conduct reference calls for final-stage candidates
Support new-hire orientation, including explaining basic benefits and introductory information
Collaborate closely with the internal HR Analyst to ensure smooth handoffs from recruiting to onboarding
Maintain strict accuracy with documentation and confidential information
Assist with process improvements and internal recruitment metrics
Provide support as hiring needs arise

Qualifications

Experience in HR, recruiting, onboarding, or related roles
Strong attention to detail, especially with offer details and compliance steps
Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal oversight
